From the Chairman
Welcome to HCA Global. Thanks to you, we have come a long way from our humble beginnings back in 2012. It has been a difficult journey to keep the Alliance alive and kicking. If anything, this journey has been thought to be to become a better and stronger leader. “You are only as strong as the people around you” never rang so true today more than you know. Life definitely has a way of bringing you full circle and I am humbled but energized to bring the idea of family and “Lunion Fait La Force” to an amazing group of Culinary Professionals.
Our top priority and vision remain to forge a strong and united network of culinary, Food Service, and Hospitality professionals of Haitian descent across the globe, to connect young professionals with industry professionals while providing educational and networking resources to our affiliates while simultaneously focusing on the promotion of Haiti’s gastronomy and its culture around the world. We also aim to continue developing an important relationship with our motherland Haiti in order to bring hope and uplift a new generation of culinary and hospitality future professionals in the industry.
Chefs In Action
Hello Everyone, I hope all is well. Three years ago we launched with our initiative Chefs en Action a Kombit Soup Joumou on the 1st of January called Soup Viktwa where we would distribute Soup for the population in Haiti. We are again doing this kombit for the 220th anniversary of our independence. I would ask everyone to share the video and flyer on your social media and make this kombit a reality. In addition any donation from $25 and up will receive a T-Shirt designed by Gusgus.

Chefs In Action
We put together a team of chefs, volunteers, and culinary students and headed to the South of Haiti, with one goal – to offer relief and feed the people. We were also able to connect at the time with a branch of government that had purchased a couple of food trailers that were equipped to prepare thousand of meals at a time. One of those trucks was sitting in what was to be the hospitality & Culinary School in the City of Les Cayes and right way we were able to get things moving. Here we are in 2021, and Haiti (the specific region is being hit again, but this time by a 7.0 Earthquake. 11 years after the first earthquake which destroyed a majority of the Capital (Port-au-Prince) we are having to go through this again. We currently have a team on the ground led by our HCA director in Haiti, Chef David Destinoble, who has gathered a team of chefs, cooks, and volunteers to again go help the population.
We need your help to reach our goal of preparing 3000 Meals per day. The cost of these meals, packaged and delivered is estimated at just $0.50 cents per meal.
You can donate to the Haiti Hurricane Relief by clicking on the page Donate button on this page. Every donation will go directly in purchasing goods that we will cook to feed the population, and will also cover transportation to the areas in need. Every Dollar counts.
We also want to make sure to keep you updated on our efforts and be completely transparent with every dollar donated. Please help us reach as many as possible with a hot meal.
